What was the line up? How good were they? (silly question)
I only saw them once in September 1976 at the Queen Elizabeth Hall (part of the Royal Festival Hall) in London, it was the 'proper' line up with Phil Barlow on drums.
Highlights were the rest of the band walking off stage for George to do Jake Thackray's 'Bantam thingy', and Phil Barlow doing a bit at the end of 'Armchair Athlete'.

Hi Craig Yes I did see them live, in fact I was backstage with the band on that occasion in a voluntary role as a " Roadie ", for the band. If I remember correctly that was the same evening that Frank Sinatra was playing at the Festival Hall next door. The band were in London as part of the " Noel Gay "organisation's Fiftieth Anniversary Celebrations. It was followed by a party on board one of the River Thames Pleasure Craft, but alas the crew missed out on it through having to do the " get out ", from the Venue. As I recall it was a very enjoyable few days. Thanks Craig, for reminding me of those Days, and Happy Days they were. Regards, Kevmacker

Yes I did see them Live. Not sure where, think it was Liverpool. again the original Line up with Phil Barlow on Drums. I was only 8 at the time. I have just dug out all the old albums and am putting them onto cd. It must be 30 years since I listened to them but I can still remember all the words. That must be part of my mis-spent childhood. Fond memories of good times
