Can some one tell me if I dreamt this? In one of the songs did the words ".....while the wind of change blows gently" come into the lyrics? Thanks.

Hi pelicanman There is a track on the " Songs we like to sing "album released in 1973 or close to that time. the track is entitled " He came to me ". Unfortunately I do not have access to a record deck so I am unable to check this track out. The Album was released on Columbia records Catalogue No. SCX 6554. and may still be obtainable through the EBAY shops site. I hope this may be of some use to you. Regards, Kevmacker

Thanks Kev. I had the Lps but my ex wife took them with her but at least I've something to work with now. Terrific. Now I'm in Australia and have found a near neighbour who was born in Ashton and has most of their records. I'm off to see her. Pelicanman

Well I've thought about it, which I don't do often, but can't come up with the track.
The nearest was 'The passing winds will blow' from Watering Can.
If anyone gets this, can they let me know because it's going to drive me nuts otherwise!
Thanks

I hope I'm right here but I think that song line came from a track called 'Emerald Dew' which is on the LP called 'Makin' Tracks' released in 1973, and is track 5 on side 1. I still have a full page article on the group called 'Five pennorth of success' which appeared in the DAILY MIRROR on Friday July 4, 1975. Glad I've still got my 6 vinyl LP's.
